Lefkara, as a whole, represents a lively museum where
the visitor can, in every corner of the village, feel the experience of living
in past periods. By staying in Lefkara, visitors are given the opportunity to
live for a while in the gitonia (neighborhood) and the sokakia (narrow streets)
where women embroidering the Lefkaritiko lace and men have their coffee in the
coffee shops of the square in Lefkara. A visitor has also the chance to visit
the "Museum of Folklore Art" and the "Cyprus Wax Museum" both
in the heart of Lefkara village.
Restaurants are always open to serve the traditional dish of the village -Lefkaritiko
Ttava and Cyprus meze.
In Lefkara there is also Police Station, Hospital and Fire Station.
